Located in Charlotte’s historic Fourth Ward District, Sub One Hoagie opened its door September 1992. Richard Jones left his corporate job to pursue his dream of
owning his own business. At the time, the location of the business was not the best for opening a sandwich shop, but the vision given to him was far greater than
anyone could have imagined. Working inside the vision has granted Sub One Hoagie House to become a staple in the community. Thousands of people have had
a chance to share in the development of Sub One Hoagie House. For over 30 years, our customers have given us the opportunity to succeed and continue to do
so. With the revitalization of Charlotte downtown, the shop has gained great attention and a loyal customer base. Today, Sub One is known to be a pillar business
in the community and one of the cities main attractions.

​The family business has been the first job for many of the teenage family members, introducing them to the importance of having great work ethic, whether it was
