WHERE IS THE STUDIO LOCATED?
The studio is located at 209 N. 3rd Street Richmond, VA 23219
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Street parking is available. Please pay attention to the posted signs regarding any restrictions.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
10-15 minutes before class begins. Failure to arrive within 5 minutes of the start time releases your bike to walk-ins.
WHAT IF I’M LATE TO CLASS?
Classes start ON TIME. Once class begins, the door will be closed and locked. You will not be permitted entrance into the studio. If you
arrive to the studio and the door is closed you are considered a “no show.” A $10.00 “No Show” fee will be charged to the credit card on
file.
WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC IS PLAYED AT HOUR CYCLE?
We are a Hip-Hop cycle studio! In addition to Hip- Hop, playlists may include Reggae, Afrobeat, SOCA and more! We love music with a
dope beat that pushes you to move even when you are tired!
ARE PLAYLISTS EXPLICIT?
Our classes have unedited playlists. Explicit lyrics are very likely.
WHAT KIND OF BIKES ARE IN THE STUDIO?
Hour Cycle has Schwinn AC Sport bikes. They can hold up to 350 pounds.
DO I NEED CYCLE SHOES?
Nope! The bikes have double-sided pedals that are compatible with spd clips OR your gym shoes. Our bikes are NOT compatible with
cycle shoes that use delta clips. Cycle shoes compatible with Peloton bikes are NOT compatible with our bikes.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
Bring a water bottle and a towel to wipe the schhhweatt! A mask is also required before and after class. You do not need to wear the
mask during the workout.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASS?
Reserve your bike on the MindBody app or on the Hour Cycle Website. Please note: a “Single Session Drop In” session does NOT
mean you show up to class whenever. You must reserve your space in class via the app or on our website.
WHAT’S THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
A reservation can be cancelled in the rider’s account under “My Schedule.” Cancellations without penalty can be made 6 hours in advance
of the class start time. This allows for riders on the waitlist to take the space. Cancellations made with less than 6 hours before class time
will result in losing the class credit. If you have an “unlimited” package and fail to cancel within our early cancellation window you will be
charged a $5 “late cancel” fee. Failure to report to class will result in a $10.00 “No Show” fee charged to the credit card on file.
HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?
A class that is waitlisted means that the roster is full. If a rider on the roster drops the class you will be moved into the class up to 6 hours
prior to the class start time. You will be notified via email or text (depending on your notification preferences selected in your account). If
you do not make it off of the waitlist, the pass will be available for you to use at another time before the pass expires.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
Class sessions are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please take note of the expiration date of your sessions and plan accordingly.
IS THERE SPACE TO CHANGE CLOTHES?
We have restroom available for you to change clothes if necessary. There is no “locker room.”
I’M PREGNANT. ARE SESSIONS SAFE FOR PREGNANT PERSONS?
Pregnant people are welcome and are encouraged to consult a physician prior to commencing a new fitness experience.
DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE EVENTS?
Yes! We would love to host your corporate event, birthday party, bachelor/bachelorette or other themed event. Please complete the
request form on the “Private Event” page of our site.
WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT TO PARTICIPATE?
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
