Is BREAD a black-owned brand?
BREAD was founded by Maeva Heim in 2020.
Do your products work on straight/non-curly hair?
Our products are designed for curly, textured hair, but are suitable for (and loved by) all hair types, especially on strands that get
extra dry sometimes. We’d say give them a go, try them out for yourself and assess your hair feels.
Can the hair-wash and hair-mask be used every day?
Sure can. Our formulas are extra-gentle, making them suitable for whenever, wherever use. But we’re big believers in giving your
locks a few days between washes to give it some chill time.
Do your products work on 4c hair?
Yes! Our Founder Maeva has 4c hair, so all our products are designed for those first, the rest second.
Can your products be used on color-treated hair?
Indeed. All our products are sulfate and paraben-free which are the big watch-outs for colour-treated hair.
