We often get asked this question. Black Owned Bos. is a business and a brand. As a brand, recognition and awareness are
fundamental. As an entity your brand is your identity. There is nothing more important to building your community, growing your
business, and sustaining. Black Owned Bos. is whole. It is not an abbreviation or short for anything. However - “Bos.” represents
Boston - our hometown and primary service area. Our source. The Bos. is a unique brand identifier which is why we do not go by
Black Owned Boston. As a business we are striving to be a household name and a unique name only helps to reach that goal.
Tip: Choosing a name for your business is such an important decision to make. Don’t take it lightly
